Let's take a break from the law for a minute. My friend Andy Blake, an Elkins native who now serves as City Attorney for the City of Ranson, knows how I love pepperoni rolls, and forwarded me this article from the New York Times called "Fast Food Even Before Fast Food." It chronicles the "role" of pepperoni rolls in North Central West Virginia, where I grew up.
The article avoids the "stick vs. slices" debate, and jumps straight into condiments. Some people like them with red sauce, some with chili, some just with cheese.
